2010 Chevrolet HHR
The 2010 Chevrolet HHR lineup loses its high-performance SS Panel model. This compact wagon is named for its “Heritage High Roof” styling inspired by 1950s Chevrolet Suburbans. HHR is front-wheel drive and shares some elements of its basic design with Chevy’s Cobalt. Most HHR models seat 5, and Chevy also offers a 2-seat “panel” version that targets delivery companies.Regular and Panel models come in LS, 1LT, and 2LT trim levels. LS and 1LT have a 155-horsepower 2.2-liter 4-cylinder engine. Optional on 1LT and standard on 2LT is a 172-horsepower 2.4-liter 4-cylinder. Both these engines are capable of running on E85 ethanol-blended fuel. The high-performance SS has a turbocharged 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine that has 250 or 260 horsepower, depending on transmission selection. A 5-speed manual transmission is standard, and a 4-speed automatic is optional. Available safety features include ABS, traction control, antiskid system, and curtain-side airbags. A wireless cell phone link is available. A rearview camera is newly available. SS versions have a specific sport suspension, 18-inch wheels, and unique trim.
